So this weekend, one of the largest parks in Europe, Heaton Park hosts one of the highlights of the Manchester calender Parklife Weekender. The sold out festival has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2010 growing to 70,000 people per day. As the capacity grows, so does the line-up and attractions with loads to explore across the site. Headliners this year include Foals and Snoop Dogg with the likes of Bastille, Disclosure, Rudimental also on the bill with stages hosted by some of the World’s biggest clubbing brands such as Hot Creations and Kaluki.
When you look at the biggest nine stage ages, the line-up really is seriously strong and varied the whole way down the bill and makes the ticket price look an absolute bargain. So your mind is bound to boggle as to who to see and when, especially as you’re probably busy worrying about the weather. This time round instead of one person giving their picks on who to see, the question got passed around the office and we all came up with our 12 key picks of who to watch at the festival across all stages and if you are not heading to Parklife, do not fear, we have added ticket links to the artists touring.

Expect: A more than interesting fusion of classical instruments and dance and old school garage pushing boundaries.

Expect: Bluesy, gripping acoustic ballads sung by a power husky voice.
