Becky Hill – Best Dance Act
Becky Hill was visibly emotional after her victory. “I’ve never been so touched by all of my fans,” she said, recognising their support in voting her this year’s winner.

Wolf Alice – Best British Group
“This is absolutely unbelievable,” bassist Theo said. The quartet’s win was perhaps the upset of the evening, fending off Little Mix and Coldplay but it was undoubtedly deserved. Their third album, Blue Weekend, went to number one last year and they are on tour next month.

Sam Fender – Best Alternative/Rock Act
“I had a plan, and I’ve forgot it so I’m just gonna say thanks,” said Sam Fender upon collecting his award. His sophomore album, Seventeen Going Under, went to number one last year and he’s set for a huge arena tour later this year.

Little Simz – Best New Act
Little Simz’s performance was a highlight of the evening, but it was quickly topped when she picked up the award for Best New Act and brought her mum on stage to accept the award – the UK has a new national treasure.

Dave – Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime Act
Dave picked up another BRIT, this year for Best Hip Hop/Rap/Grime act, but it was his show-closing performance that will live long in the memory, ending on a guitar solo with fire blasting out of his instrument.

Olivia Rodrigo – International Song of the Year
The 19-year old won for her hit single, ‘Good 4 U’, and looked comfortable throughout the entire evening, offering a shout-out to fellow winners Wolf Alice in an interview with host Mo Gilligan.
Billie Eilish – International Artist of the Year
Glastonbury 2022 headliner Billie Eilish picked up International Artist of the Year award, fighting off competition from Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo.
