As current events have forced the postponements of gigs, festivals and public events, self isolation and social distancing has become a serious reality for most of us. Despite isolation keeping us apart, music brings us together. We’ve seen an incredible number of artists pulling together to host live performances from home to lift the spirits of restless music fans.
Last month, Chris Martin kicked off a huge, ongoing series of concerts, Together At Home, co-ordinated by Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation, to raise money for WHO and healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis. Since then, countless artists and musicians have joined the movement, including the likes of Hozier, James Bay, Chris Martin, Miguel, Niall Horan and many more.
Here’s a selection of some of the livestreams you may have missed over the last couple of weeks. Don’t forget to check out our virtual gig guide for daily updates on artist livestreams!
