New Jersey singer-songwriter and guitarist Fousheé first emerged on the scene back in the 2020 lockdown, when her track ‘Deep End’ went viral on TikTok, creating trends and completely taking over social media. The track now has over 200 million streams on Spotify, and features on her debut album, ‘time machine’, where she collaborated with artists such as Lil Yachty and Steve Lacy.
Since then, Fousheé has released a second album in late 2022, titled ‘softCORE’. This new record is bold and memorable, combining R&B and Hip Hop with alternative and elements of punk. Despite the name, ‘softCORE’ it is definitely more angsty than soft, with screaming guitars and altered vocals – a sound completely unique to Fousheé.
Catch her show at Village Underground in Shoreditch on Tuesday 22nd August, it’s not one to be missed.
