The time has come – the first stage split has been revealed for this year’s Neighbourhood Festival!

Dylan, Baby Queen, Cian Ducrot and Sadie Jean will all be sharing the Manchester Academy 2 stage on Saturday 1st October and we cannot wait. It’s just over a month before Manchester’s biggest multi-venue festival returns to the city, so whilst we wait let’s take a closer look at the artists on this knock-out lineup…

Dylan

Indie-pop singer songwriter Dylan first found fame through Tiktok, where she posts covers and shares her angsty-teen original songs. Her music shares traits of pop and classic rock, driven by electric guitar riffs and relatable lyrics based on her ‘situation-ships’ experiences, and became hugely popular before even being released.

Home to mega-star Ed Sheeran, Dylan signed with Grumpy Old Management back in 2019, and has since joined the musician on his ‘Mathematics’ world tour this year.

In between touring and a busy festival period, Dylan released her new single ‘Girl Of Your Dreams’ earlier this month which you can stream here.

Baby Queen

Moving from South Africa to London at the age of 18 to pursue a career in music, Baby Queen has swiftly become popular in the indie-pop world. The confident, honest attitude she radiates is unmatched in todays pop music society, showcasing brutal honesty on real-life issues, making her music a safe space for her audience all around the world.

In September 2021, Baby Queen released her debut album ‘The Yearbook’, her ‘coming of age’ record, displaying her raw thoughts and insightful humour, even naming her first track ‘Baby Kingdom’, a name dubbed to her fans to show her unique connection and dedication to them.

Alongside her support slot on Olivia Rodrigo’s latest tour, Baby Queen released her latest single ‘Nobody Really Cares’ this July. You can stream it here.

Cian Ducrot

Irish-French singer songwriter Cian Ducrot has had a whirlwind last couple of years. The singer, who was homeless three years ago, started posting Tiktoks of original songs and trends and became a sensation less than a year later, with now over 993k followers.

Now signed to Darkroom/Interscope records, Cian has released his debut album ‘started in college (mixtape) and EP, ‘Make Believe’, which merges haunting, somber storylines with electro-pop elements. Cian also displays his vulnerable side, with his musically-stripped back track ‘All For You’, which gained huge recognition this year, featuring on Love Island, and has since released a version with popstar Ella Henderson, and landed him his first hit in the UK Top 40.

You can listen to Cian’s music here.

Sadie Jean

20-year-old singer-songwriter Sadie Jean also found fame through posting her beautifully written, heartbreak ballads on Tiktok, where her infectious melodies and intimate lyrics got the recognition they deserve.

Inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, Sadie’s emotionally captivating tracks and her dedication to posting content has received over 16.3 million likes, and lead her to her debut single release ‘WYD Now?’. Released on December 10th 2021, the song gained over 100 million streams in the first 6 months.

Sadie is due to perform a headline show at The Grace in London on 3rd October, shortly after her debut Neighbourhood appearance. Listen to her music here.
