Electropop trio Arctic Lake formed in 2014 and is made up of Emma Foster, Paul Holliman and Andy Richmond. Together, they create minimalist and atmospheric tunes that focus on Foster’s unparalleled falsetto vocals.
Through their sombre electric ballads, they explore the depths of human emotion and channel their own experiences. They released their first single ‘Limits’ in 2015 and it quickly caught the eye of BBC Introducing and was added to their Radio 1 playlist. The radio station has since supported the trio through their following releases such as ‘Heal Me’ in 2016. They self-released their debut EP Closer in 2017 and will soon follow up on that success with their as-yet-untitled release.
Their highlight as live performers were their appearance at Reading & Leeds Festivals in 2016 on BBC Music’s Introducing Stage, but will be hitting the road for their first ever UK tour this June.
