Pop punk quartet Broadside from Virginia have made a real name for themselves in the scene, earning support slots for Tonight Alive and Trash Boat, as well as Highlight Magazine rating their 2017 album Paradise a 9/10. Now they’re hitting the UK this May with support from Milestones and Homebound.
Made up of Ollie Baxxter (vocals), Dorian Cooke (guitar/vocals) and Pat Diaz (bass), Broadside formed in 2010 and independently released their debut EP Far From Home a year later. They have since released two critically acclaimed full-length albums, with Punktastic states 2015’s Old Bones “touches base lyrically with a whole host of relatable subjects and reflects on them with maturity”.
In an interview with Shout It Loud discussing the upcoming UK tour, Diaz said “The fans treat us well and the shows are always a blast. When we found out London was sold out, that invigorated us so much that we are striving to make that the best show of our career with some of the best fans in the world.”
