Classic rock outfit Tax The Heat formed five years ago, receiving high praise from various peers in the music industry, including rock giant Richard Fortus of the legendary Guns N Roses, who described them as “the most exciting band I’ve heard in years!”.
They’re embarking on a UK tour this April, with an extra date added in their hometown of Bristol due to such high demand. With the release of their second album Change The Heat, fans can expect a range of new material from the four-piece. This year’s tour will visit a range of new venues for the band, who covered the UK only last November while supporting Black Star Riders – formed from members of hard rock giants Thin Lizzy. 2016 was also filled with phenomenal support slots accompanying glam rock group Europe and Bradford rockers Terrorvision in the UK as well as on the continent.
Those attending the two shows at Bristol’s Rough Trade will be lucky enough to witness the critically acclaimed new album performed in full. Change The Heat has received exceptionally positive reviews, with Louder Than War giving it a 9/10.introducing / tax the heat
