Introducing… Oddity Road

Share:

Sheffield’s indie rock outfit Oddity Road formed in 2016 and are already achieving huge milestones even while still in education. Made up of Jack Heath (vocals/guitar), Dan Brennan (guitar), Joel Gilbourne (bass) and Ethan Lambert (drums), the group met at college while studying music, leading to great technical and theoretical knowledge that is portrayed clearly in their sound.

While taking inspiration from the likes of The Kooks, Kings of Leon and The Enemy, Oddity Road also take a darker turn in their music, showcasing their maturity through their songwriting. Although only having a few singles out so far, the four-piece say they’ve got loads more ready under their belts.

After selling out consecutive hometown shows, they’ve picked up a host of support slots including The Sherlocks, Hooton Tennis Club and Space, as well as playing venues and festivals across the UK. In summer 2017, they played around 25 festivals, including packing out a 4,000 capacity tent at Y-NOT.

Their music video for their latest single ‘Don’t Hold Me Down’ was released last week, watch it below!
