Frequent dwellers of Jimmy’s, Fuzzy Sun from Stockport, are back again from February through to April, performing a four-date residency headlining the red-tinged venue. They last performed here in December when supporting indie-rock four-piece RedFaces, and are now basically ready to move in.
The psychedelic pop new-comers are made up Kyle Ross (vocals/guitar), Daisy Valentine (keys/synth/vocals), Lewis Jobson (bass), Raffaele Pani (guitar) and Mitch Bancroft (drums), and have mastered the art of soft, hymn-like tunes. Kyle and Daisy showcase great talents in harmonizing, with Daisy’s ethereal, high-pitched voice proving appropriate for every genre their repertoire explores. They float between elements of RnB, contemporary pop and disco, with the ability to make contrasting sections enhance one another.
The band have announced that their long-awaited debut EP Want Love will be released on 21st March, three days before their third show of four. The EP will feature four tracks: ‘Want Love’, ‘Sad’, ‘After All This Time’ and ‘Come Take A Bite’.
Had a great evening with the guys from Proper Magazine shooting the new line of Hikerdelic Clothing and Apparel! Here's a sneak peak, along with a lil taste of the EP for y'all.
