Introducing… FLING

Hailing from Bradford, Yorkshire, self-proclaimed “Wonky Pop” outfit FLING are set to develop into a fully fledged love affair in 2019 with the release of their debut album FLING OR DIE.

A product of Bradford’s flourishing art-scene, this hungry 5 piece consists of Charles McSorley (vocals), Jack Winn (guitar), Billy Fielding (drums), Jake Lees (bass) and Sam Malynowsky (keyboards).

The eagerly anticipated release follows a string of sold-out hometown shows, appearances at Live at Leeds, SWN, Neighbourhood (two years running), and a host of singles culminating in support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson, Gideon Coe (6 music), Huw Stevens (Radio 1) whilst featuring on playlists from Radio X, Beats 1 and Spotify’s critically acclaimed Indie List… Not to mention gaining their own fleet of fans in the process known only as Flingers.

After meeting at a gig and bonding over a mutual interest in 70s glam rock, FLING moved out of their basement studio and began working on their forthcoming release with Lee Smith at Greenmount Studios (The Cribs / Pulled Apart By Horses). Previously teased singles receiving praise from Wonderland Magazine “alt-rock perfection”, and Clash Music “an irresistible pop package”.

FLING release FLING OR DIE on Dance To The Radio 22nd February 2019.
